"Working with Lee, Anita and Jorge has opened my eyes to a better way of being. Emotional Intelligence and the link to Diversity is such a powerful tool that I knowingly use in both my work and everyday life. Being aware of my values, the impact I have on those around me and how I can use my strengths and abilities to make everything I do more fun, more acceptable and more enjoyable has really brought a new dimension to my life. In 26 years of working for a global company, I can only think of 3 areas of new knowledge that have really changed my life and my approach - Putting People First (in the 80's), Situational Leadership (in the 90's) and EI&D( for today). This has had the most powerful impact. Its an awareness, with tools, that I use with my wife, my children and my colleagues at work. People have commented on the difference and when asked I can attribute it directly to working with Lee, Anita and Jorge. As well as being great tutors, the team are really great people on a personal level. Thet bring a sense of fun to their work and demonstrate true commitment and belief in what they do Thank you for giving the guidance and insight enabling me to change what I do with such positive impact."

What Is Eidi?

EIDI - The Emotional Intelligence and Diversity Institute was formed in 2004 to help individuals and organizations create emotionally healthy, productive environments where everyone's talents are used to the fullest.  EIDI provides a structure, education and materials that fosters that development.

Our Systematic Approach

  • Four-part training in the core competencies of EID for employees at every level of the organization
  • Four individual workbooks that reinforce new EID skills and behaviors and lead to increased accountability
  • An assessment of participants’ emotional intelligence and an ability to deal with differences
  • Individual coaching for continuous growth and learning
  • A Train-the-Trainer process
  • Leadership Training that builds emotionally intelligent and diverse organizations and teams
  • Strategic planning retreats and facilitation for top executives committed to fostering an emotionally intelligent and diverse culture
  • Management Training that builds a high performing, inclusive culture

  • Emotions drive behavior and provide the spark that energizes life and work. They can bring magic or misery. Despite their power, organizations frequently discount and dismiss them.

In the face of increasing diversity, where differences stimulate strong emotional responses, it is imperative that organizations capitalize on this powerful source of motivation.

Our Emotional Intelligence and Diversity (EID) model offers a systematic approach for helping organizations and the individuals who work in them legitimize, acknowledge and use the power of emotions as a source of energy for doing both the right and the smart thing.
