EID Championship:

Building Championship Teams the EID Way:
Spirit, Energy and Purpose

EIDIEmotions are the wondrous source of energy behind engagement, productivity and dedication. But they can also be the source of discord and disengagement. Emotional Intelligence is a critical competence needed to intentionally channel emotional energy in a positive way in order to communicate effectively. This is especially so in today’s pluralistic work teams where multiple values are often at odds, where norms vary and where differences may lead to miscommunication, conflict and lost productivity. This session will share a model and tools for building the Emotional Intelligence necessary for being successful in working with the complexity and opportunity diversity brings. Team leaders and members will gain conceptual information and practical tools for effective communication across differences, and for building an environment of collaboration and inclusion.
